Monarch has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  challenge the Erie Tigers at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Monarch knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully Erie likes a good challenge.
 Monarch scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They blew past Prairie View 84-62. Monarch has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six  contests by 20  points or more this season.
 Monarch's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Evan Trujillo, who  scored 16 points along with five  assists and two  steals. Another player making a difference was  Graham Johnson, who  scored 17 points along with five  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Erie earned a  50-41 win over Boulder  on Tuesday.
 Monarch's win was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 72.3 points per game. As for Erie, they now  have a winning record of 10-9.
 Monarch beat Erie 64-52  in their previous meeting  back in December of 2023. Does  Monarch have another victory up their sleeve, or will Erie turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
