Atlantic City has been on the road for seven straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. The Atlantic City Vikings and Atlantic County Institute of Tech will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Atlantic City is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Atlantic County Institute of Tech in New Jersey (Atlantic City is ranked 63rd, while Atlantic County Institute of Tech is ranked 336th).
Last Saturday, Atlantic City beat Wildwood Catholic by the very same score they won with last week: 52-45.
Atlantic City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Khajuan Roseborough, who scored 25 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Roseborough is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Chris Finks was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Atlantic County Institute of Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cedar Creek.
Atlantic City is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Atlantic County Institute of Tech, they have fallen quite a ways from their 20-7 record last season and are now at 3-10.
Atlantic City strolled past Atlantic County Institute of Tech when the teams last played back in December of 2023 by a score of 41-25. Does Atlantic City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Atlantic County Institute of Tech turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
