After flying high against the Uplift Elevate Prep Blue Jays on Friday, the Millsap Bulldogs came back down to earth. Millsap took a hard 57-43 fall against Llano on Saturday.
Despite the loss, Millsap still got an impressive performance from Braylon Pugh, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Pugh's fifth in a row with at least ten points.
Millsap's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Llano, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millsap will take on Holliday at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Holliday presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Millsap in Texas (Holliday is ranked 139th, while Millsap is ranked 1397th). As for Llano, they will be playing at home against Canyon Lake at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Lake is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
