Aubrey Rogers had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Oasis on Thursday. The Patriots were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Sharks. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Aubrey Rogers got a great performance from Kaiden Thompson as he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Harry Lyons, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tristan DeGenova, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Aubrey Rogers' win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Oasis, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aubrey Rogers will head out to take on IMG Academy Navy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Ascenders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Oasis, they are taking a road trip to challenge Imagine School at North Port at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
