For the second straight game, Roncalli will face off against Brillion. The Jets will be playing at home against the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Roncalli is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Roncalli came up short against Brillion on Tuesday, falling 9-3. The Jets haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

For Brillion's part, Joe Shimek was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. That's the most strikeouts Shimek has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Brillion's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-3 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Hayden Cousin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

The win (which was Brillion's third in a row) raised their record to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Roncalli, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
