It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Edgewood can now relate to. They took a 64-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indianapolis Washington Continentals on Tuesday. The Mustangs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Edgewood lost, don't look at Carl Norris. Despite the final result, he shot 56% from the field on his way to 14 points and eight boards. That's the most rebounds Norris has posted since back in February of 2024. Owen Mcgovern was another key player, putting up six points and six boards.

Roosevelt Franklin was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-16 to rack up 19 points along with six rebounds and five assists for Indianapolis Washington. Franklin has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Qu'Rell Williams, who shot 45% from the field en route to 13 points and three steals.

Edgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Indianapolis Washington, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season.

Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indianapolis Washington, they will take on Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season.
