After flying high against Eastside last Wednesday, Newberry came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Union County Fightin' Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Newberry's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Union County, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.
Newberry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Bradford on the 3rd. As for Union County, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Oak Hall on the 4th.
