Volleyball Recap: Riverton Has No Trouble Against Taylorsville

Riverton not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th. Everything went their way against the Taylorsville Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Silverwolves also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Riverton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-20.

Harrison Van Horn paced Riverton's offense, picking up 16 kills. Van Horn got some help from Landon Lewis and his 30 assists. Kingsley Tufuga controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

The win made it two in a row for Riverton and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Taylorsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Riverton will take on Orem at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. After both having extra time off, Taylorsville and Hunter will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
