American Christian School stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kearny Christian Academy 85-45 at home. The victory was familiar territory for American Christian School who now have four in a row.
It was another big night for Caleb Ritchwood, who scored 49 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Dennis Blake was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Despite the loss, Kearny Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Bryan Garcia scored 35 points. It was the first time this season that Garcia scored 15 or more points.
American Christian School pushed their record up to 16-4 with that win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 32.2 points. As for Kearny Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American Christian School will challenge Abundant Life Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. American Christian School has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 350 points over their last four games. Kearny Christian Academy is on the road again on Monday and plays Veritas Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on February 12th.
