Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Woodlan Warriors walked away with it. They walked away with a 53-45 win over the Cadets on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for Woodlan who now have six in a row.
Alyssa Anderson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Kneubuhler, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Woodlan is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.
Woodlan and the Huskies will face off at 1:00 p.m. on February 10th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hamilton Heights will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
