Caleb Scaglione Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Cascade Christian got the W thanks in part to Caleb Scaglione playing the best football he has all season. Scaglione rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 39 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 98 yards.
Scaglione is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Phoenix on Friday. When Scaglione last faced the Pirates back in October of 2023, he rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

On Friday, Klamath Union had to settle for second even though Tuko Saluskin put up the best numbers he has all season. Saluskin picked up 131 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Klamath Union is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. Saluskin and Klamath Union will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on October 18th.
