Brinkley found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 12-42 punch to the gut against Des Arc on Friday. The state rankings had actually given Brinkley a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Des Arc will be strutting in after a victory while Lee will be stumbling in from a defeat.
