On Saturday, the Linn Wildcats's game was all tied up 26-26 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They escaped with a win against Marshall by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Linn.
Linn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Seth Wolfe led the charge by dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Wolfe scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Noah Hall, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Marshall lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brody Kueker, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Stephen Caviness was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Linn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-9 record this season. As for Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.
