Hozho Academy waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Navajo Pine Warriors. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by seven runs or more this season.

Hozho Academy let Mika Jai and Nahliyah Morgan run wild. Jai went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Morgan went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Jai a new career-high. Elisa Longhat was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Hozho Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive games.

Hozho Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Navajo Pine, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

As of now, neither Hozho Academy nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
