The St. James Academy Thunder's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their ninth straight loss. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bishop Carroll.
John Hauserman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bishop Carroll, scoring 23 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Braxton Martin, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and six steals.
St. James Academy bumped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Bishop Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 4-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. James Academy will challenge Joplin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bishop Carroll on the road again on Tuesday and play against Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
