Everett is 0-3 against Jackson since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Seagulls will welcome the Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Everett came out on top against Marysville-Pilchuck on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Seagulls blew past the Tomahawks 13-1. The Seagulls haven't had any issues with the Tomahawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Owen Brunni was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run.
In other batting news, Nathan Mauss-Barquest was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases. He is becoming a predictor of Everett's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-6 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Lincoln Stewart, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Everett always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marysville-Pilchuck only posted an OBP of .211.
Meanwhile, Jackson got themselves on the board against Cascade on Monday, but Cascade never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Bruins. Considering the Timberwolves have won four matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
The team relied heavily on Austin Halvorson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base. Ashton Bergman was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Everett's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Jackson, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Everett has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.9 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Jackson struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one. Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
