Fremont-Mills were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Griswold 58-12. Followers of Fremont-Mills probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
The victory bumped Fremont-Mills' record up to 4-1. Griswold are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week Fremont-Mills take on Bedford at 7:00 PM. Fremont-Mills are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Bedford are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses. As for Griswold, they will face off against Clarinda Academy. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses for Griswold and four for Clarinda Academy.
