Taos and St. Michael are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2017, but likely not for long. Taos is taking a road trip to  take on St. Michael's  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
Taos came into their game  on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost  18-3 to Capital.

Meanwhile, St. Michael's made easy work of Raton  last Monday and carried off  a  14-4 win.
 Nadia Cedillo made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. Cedillo was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jaslene Ramirez, who  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. What's more,  she posted two  RBI, the most she's  had since back in April of 2024.  Aaliyah Gallegos was another key player,  scoring three  runs while going 1-for-4.
 St. Michael's  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .568. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Raton only posted  an  OBP of  .240.
 Taos' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for St. Michael's, their record now sits at 2-0.
 Taos couldn't quite get it done against St. Michael's in their previous meeting  back in March of 2023 as they fell  17-13. Can Taos avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
