Baseball Recap: Covenant School of Jacksonville Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Covenant School of Jacksonville Warriors didn't have quite enough to beat the Menendez Falcons and fell 3-2.

Ryne Fennell put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits.

Covenant School of Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Menendez, their record is now 4-7.

Coming up, Covenant School of Jacksonville will look to defend their home field on March 18th against Stanton at 7:00 p.m. As for Menendez, they will head out to square off against Palatka at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
