Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Amat). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging an 80-36 win over the Don Lugo Conquistadores. The Lancers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 35 points or more this season.

Bishop Amat's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rayshaun White, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 23 points. That's the most points White has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Chavez, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 14 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Bishop Amat and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Don Lugo, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Bishop Amat will take on San Dimas at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in San Dimas' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Don Lugo, they will take on La Canada in a tournament on Thursday. La Canada has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
