The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans will face off against the Juniata Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Upper Dauphin Area knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Juniata likes a good challenge.
On Friday, Upper Dauphin Area got the win against Newport by a conclusive 35-14. The victory continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Buffaloes: they've now won five in a row.

Isaac Jackson had a dynamite game, picking up 91 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also hauled in two receiving touchdowns, which is notable because Upper Dauphin Area is undefeated when he posts at least two receiving touchdowns, but 1-5 otherwise. Carter Dreibelbis handled things on the ground, rushing for 117 yards.
Another reason for the win was Upper Dauphin Area's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Wyatt Troutman got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Juniata played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Halifax, falling 32-7. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Upper Dauphin Area will have to keep a close watch on Ty Rowles and Jasper Shepps, a pair of players who had a big impact on Juniata's prior game. Rowles rushed for 98 yards on only nine carries, while Shepps gained 54 total yards and a touchdown.
Juniata's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Upper Dauphin Area, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Upper Dauphin Area has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 192.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Juniata struggles in that department as they've been averaging 148.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Upper Dauphin Area couldn't quite get it done against Juniata in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 21-13. Will the Trojans have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more football content.
