If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Oskaloosa. They will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Fairfield at 7:30 PM. Oskaloosa will be looking to build upon the 54-0 win they picked up against Fairfield the last time they played.
Oskaloosa were able to grind out a solid win over Washington last Friday, winning 30-20.
Meanwhile, Fairfield have to be hurting after a devastating 0-29 loss at the hands of Clear Creek-Amana.
Oskaloosa's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Fairfield's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Oskaloosa's success rolls on or if Fairfield are able to steal their positive momentum.
