They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 61-13 win over Providence-St. Mel. With Walther Christian Academy ahead 29-8 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Walther Christian Academy was led to victory by Tamia Allen and Saniyya Harvey. Allen scored 19 points along with 4 steals, while Harvey scored 12 points along with 7 steals and 5 assists. Harvey is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Ziupsnys, who scored 8 points along with 5 steals.
Walther Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Providence-St. Mel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
