With a playoff game on the line, Fort Plain rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 59-46. The victory was just what Fort Plain needed coming off of a 53-28 loss in their prior contest.
Fort Plain's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Bradley Rumrill, who scored 16 points, and Owen Castellano, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Castellano has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Hoosic Valley beat Saratoga Central Catholic 53-45 last Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Hoosic Valley.
Fort Plain's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Hoosic Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7.
