Meanwhile, Piedmont didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Montgomery Central last Friday, but they still walked away with a 20-14 victory.

Hardy is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.
West Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Piedmont, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
West Stanly was able to grind out a solid victory over Piedmont in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, winning 25-12. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Stanly since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
