Marshfield has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against The New Richmond Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. New Richmond took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Marshfield, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Marshfield beat Hortonville 17-7. The win was just what Marshfield needed coming off of a 21-0 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, New Richmond faced Hudson in a battle between two of the state's top teams. New Richmond was the victim of a rough 35-13 defeat at the hands of Hudson on Friday. It was the first time this season that New Richmond let down their fans at home.
Although New Richmond took the loss, they still got scores from Alex Aune and Miles Burke.
Marshfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season. Having lost for the first time this season, New Richmond fell to 8-1.
Marshfield might still be hurting after the 31-10 defeat they got from New Richmond in their previous matchup back in August. Can Marshfield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
