Tonopah Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Kingman Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tonopah Valley comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last 13 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
Tonopah Valley suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by Yuma Catholic 56-14. Tonopah Valley has struggled against Yuma Catholic recently, as their game on Saturday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
Kingman can finally bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down River Valley 50-34. The win was just what Kingman needed coming off of a 49-25 defeat in their prior matchup.
Tonopah Valley dropped their record down to 0-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Kingman, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-12.
Tonopah Valley was taken down by Kingman 55-24 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Tonopah Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
