After a string of three wins, Red Cloud's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 24-39 fall against Todd County. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Red Cloud of the 28-58 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
The loss dropped Red Cloud's record to 3-2. The win bumped Todd County's record up to 4-1.
Red Cloud will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Bennett County. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Todd County, they will face off against Standing Rock/Selfridge. Todd County will be strutting in after a victory while Standing Rock/Selfridge will be stumbling in from a loss.
