Bishop Machebeuf came into Saturday's   contest looking for another win against Stargate School, but  Hunter Roark wouldn't allow it. The Stargate School Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  82-79  win over the Bishop Machebeuf Buffaloes  on Saturday thanks in part to  Roark, who  posted 34 points. His afternoon made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least 19 points.
 Another player making a difference was  Connor Rusch, who  earned 18  points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played.
The  victory  got Stargate School back to even at 10-10. As for Bishop Machebeuf, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-3.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stargate School will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Peak to Peak at 7:00  p.m.  on February 25th. As for Bishop Machebeuf, they will take on Platte Canyon at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. One thing working in Bishop Machebeuf's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season.
