After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Martin, the Arlington Colts were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They blew past Sam Houston 52-0 on the road. Given Arlington's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 354th, while Sam Houston is ranked 839th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Arlington was led to victory by Coleman Cravens and Isaiah Robertson. Cravens threw for 132 yards and four touchdowns, while Robertson gained 129 total yards and two touchdowns. Robertson was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards. Cooper Peach also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Arlington's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Sam Houston, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Arlington will head out on the road to face off against Highland Park at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Highland Park will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Sam Houston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
