The Four Corners Coyotes will head out on the road to face off against the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Thursday, Four Corners took a serious blow against the Eagles, falling 89-46. While losing is never fun, Four Corners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 621st, while the Eagles are ranked 221st).
Four Corners' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kesh Harpal, who scored 17 points, and Joshua Barnes who scored 14 points. Harpal hasn't dropped below 17 points for four straight games.
Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Santa Fe Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Windermere by a score of 66-63. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Four Corners' loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Santa Fe Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 21-4.
Four Corners was taken down by the Hawks 84-20 in their previous matchup back in February of 2023. Can Four Corners avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
