Rock Hill hasn't had much luck against Plano recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Emma Alexander put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 19 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 16 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, Plano entered their contest against Plano East on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Panthers.
While Plano was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Plano East's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 27-25.
Rock Hill will have to keep a close watch on Savannah Osborn and Madeline Garcia, a pair of players who had a big impact on Plano's prior game. Osborn had 17 assists and seven digs, while Garcia had 15 digs and seven kills. The team also got some help courtesy of Maren McCardel, who had 15 assists and five digs.
Plano's defeat dropped their record down to 26-10. As for Rock Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 12-24.
