The Crossroads Christian Colts entered their tilt with the Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Crossroads Christian strolled past the Lion with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 76-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crossroads Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ben Gladieux, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Gladieux has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brodrick Jenkins, who scored 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Crossroads Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season. As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.
Crossroads Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Carolina M will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 619th, while the Colts are ranked 198th). As for Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Lions at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Neuse Christian Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 5.
