In other batting news, Taylor Helmick was incredible, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with five runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Vigeant, who got on base in all six of her plate appearances with five runs and two RBI.
Idaho City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .787. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wilder only posted an OBP of .333.
As for Wilder, they now have a losing record of 6-7. They were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but Idaho City's pitchers proved too tough.
