After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Military Magnet Academy, the Baptist Hill Bobcats were happy to have found some success on Monday. They came out on top against Charleston Math & Science by a score of 49-40. For Baptist Hill, this counts as revenge for the 35-32 defeat Charleston Math & Science walked away with the last time they faced one another on January 5th.
Despite the loss, Charleston Math & Science still got an impressive performance from Sarah Brown, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Dalailyn Reed, who scored eight points.
Baptist Hill's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Charleston Math & Science, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Baptist Hill will take on Cross at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Charleston Math & Science, they will be playing at home against Military Magnet Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Military Magnet Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
