Dixon lost to Oak Forest back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Dukes & Duchesses came out on top against the Bengals by a score of 2-0.

Abby Hicks paced Dixon's offense, picking up seven kills. Hicks were helped by Maddy Scully and Presley Lappin, who contributed seven assists each. Morgan Hargrave controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Dixon's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Oak Forest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-20.

Dixon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Byron on the 14th. As for Oak Forest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thornton Fractional North at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
