If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Wichita HomeSchool. They will challenge Manhattan Eagles on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Manhattan Eagles will need to watch out since Wichita HomeSchool have now posted big point totals in their last five contests.
Last Friday, Wichita HomeSchool put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against St. John's Military as the squad secured a 46-0 win. Wichita HomeSchool's success was spearheaded by the efforts of junior Luke Johnson, who rushed for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns, and junior Will Day, who punched in 2 rushing TDs and accumulated 125 passing yards.
Meanwhile, if Manhattan Eagles were riding high off their 34-0 takedown of Veritas Christian two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Manhattan Eagles took a hard 34-52 fall against St. Mary's Academy.
Wichita HomeSchool were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Manhattan Eagles 62-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wichita HomeSchool since the team won't have home-field advantage.
