You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Papillion-LaVista's strategy against Burke on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs blew the Burke Bulldogs out of the water with an 81-31 final score. The Monarchs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Burke lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was LaNasia Wilson, who posted 13 points and seven boards. That was a full 41.9% of Burke's points, marking the fourth time in a row Wilson has put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Hevin Ketchum, who earned nine points and five rebounds.

Papillion-LaVista is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.8 points over those games. As for Burke, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-19.
