After having lost a blowout to Mount Juliet in their previous matchup, Gallatin were happy to find some success on Friday. Gallatin put a hurting on Hillwood to the tune of 60-24. Gallatin have a history of success against Hillwood, winning their last head-to-head 60-24.
Gallatin got off to a slow start in their previous match, but they had no such trouble against Hillwood and cruised to a 25-point first half. Hillwood put up 18, so the score was 25-18 at the half. Gallatin's offense just added to that total in the second half en route to their big win. The win bumped their record up to 2-3. The loss dropped Hillwood's record to 1-4.
Next week Gallatin take on Wilson Central at 7:00 PM. As for Hillwood, they will face off against Cheatham County Central.
