Fairview has gone a perfect 4-0 against Evergreen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Apaches will head out to square off against the Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Fairview will be strutting in after a victory while Evergreen will be coming in after a loss.
Fairview barely beat Wayne Trace the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Apaches blew past the Raiders 16-2 on Tuesday. The Apaches' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Lilly Warner made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Warner was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2025.

Meanwhile, Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Archbold.
Leah McVey made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Fairview, their record now sits at 2-11.
Everything went Fairview's way against Evergreen in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Fairview made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Apaches since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
