Wesley Chapel has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.
Wesley Chapel's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trey Murray led the charge by scoring 25 points along with five assists and five steals. Murray is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Sian Morris, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Wesley Chapel is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Frostproof, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
Wesley Chapel and Mitchell will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Mitchell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Wesley Chapel is ranked 87th). As for Frostproof, they will head out on the road to face off against Tenoroc at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. Tenoroc comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
