Eunice never let their opponents score on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Midland Rebels with a sharp 18-0 win. Considering the Bobcats have won seven matchups by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Eunice has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Midland dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Eunice has already played their next game, a 12-1 loss against Iowa on the 18th. As for Midland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 24-4 victory against Lake Charles College Prep on the 17th.
