They came out on top against Hernando Christian Academy by a score of 64-55. The win was just what Seven Rivers Christian needed coming off of a 72-30 defeat in their prior matchup.
Richard Kilias continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hendrix Loughridge, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and six blocks.
Seven Rivers Christian pushed their record up to 8-6 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Hernando Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Seven Rivers Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Redeemer Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Redeemer Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. Hernando Christian Academy on the road again on Friday and play against Academy at the Lakes at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th.
