Geneva lost to Honeoye back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 12-10.

Geneva has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Honeoye, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Geneva beat the Bulldogs by a score of 12-6 later that day.
