Basketball Recap: KJ Johnson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Houston County over Warner Robins

Houston County lost against Warner Robins back in November and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears lost to the Demons on the road by a 52-36 margin. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Houston County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was KJ Johnson, who posted 11 points. Kaden Coney was another key player, putting up seven points.

Houston County moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Warner Robins, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Houston County will take on Peach County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Warner Robins, they will head out on the road to challenge Tift County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
