The Victor Blue Devils put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They walked away with a 33-22 victory over Spencerport. Given Victor's advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Spencerport is ranked 217th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Victor's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adam Ruffalo, who picked up 120 receiving yards and a touchdown. Drevariis Yeomas was in the mix as well, providing Victor with two touchdowns.
Victor's victory was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. As for Spencerport, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victor will take on Churchville-Chili at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spencerport, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Webster Thomas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Webster Thomas is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
