McMichael never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Bartlett Yancey on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Buccaneers a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Phoenix, who have now won four contests by 12 runs or more so far this season.

McMichael's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Bartlett Yancey, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

McMichael wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-2 victory against Bishop McGuinness on the 11th. As for Bartlett Yancey, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-6 win against North Moore on the 11th.
