Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Luverne). They blew past the New Brockton Gamecocks, posting a 73-37 win. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 61-59 victory the Gamecocks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The win made it two in a row for Luverne and bumps their season record up to 2-5. As for New Brockton, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luverne will challenge Brantley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Brantley has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 210 points over their last three contests. As for New Brockton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Jay at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
