Meanwhile, Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a blow against Dixon, falling 46-0.
Rio Linda has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.7 points on average over those games. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
