 On Piedmont Hills' side,  Isabella Flores spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. Flores has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Hannah Hernandez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Isabella Paskert, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Los Altos' win  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 11-14. As for Piedmont Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.
 Los Altos is on the road again  on Tuesday to play Aragon at 4:00  p.m. Los Altos has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Piedmont Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
